Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
Reflection:
This verse teaches us to surrender control and trust that God has a plan, even when life is confusing or uncertain. Rather than relying on our limited understanding, we are encouraged to have faith in God’s wisdom. When we submit to Him wholeheartedly, He promises to guide us in the right direction.
Take a moment today to reflect on any areas of life where you need to let go and allow God to lead.
To trust God means to have faith in His plans, even when you don’t fully understand what’s happening in your life. It involves believing that God is good, wise, and in control, and choosing to rely on Him instead of your own understanding. Trusting God requires surrender—releasing your worries and anxieties into His hands—and believing that He will guide you through both joyful and challenging times. It’s not about knowing the future but trusting that God is already there, working all things for your good (Romans 8:28).
