A long, long time ago, before there was anything—no animals, no trees, and not even the sun or the moon—there was only God. But God had a wonderful plan to create a beautiful world!
Day 1:
God said, “Let there be light!” And just like that, light appeared! God separated the light from the darkness, calling the light “Day” and the darkness “Night.” That was the very first day.
Day 2:
On the second day, God made the sky. He placed the bright blue sky above the earth, with fluffy clouds drifting across it.
Day 3:
Next, God created the land and the sea. He told the water to gather in one place, forming oceans and rivers, and dry land appeared. Then God said, “Let the earth grow plants and trees!” And suddenly, flowers, tall trees, and juicy fruits appeared all over the land.
Day 4:
God wasn’t done yet! He made the sun to shine during the day and the moon and stars to sparkle at night. The sky was now full of bright, twinkling lights!
Day 5:
On the fifth day, God filled the oceans with fish, dolphins, and all kinds of sea creatures. In the sky, He made birds that soared through the air and sang beautiful songs.
Day 6:
On the sixth day, God made animals to roam the land—lions, elephants, squirrels, and even tiny ants! But God saved His best creation for last. He made people! God created a man named Adam and a woman named Eve. He told them to take care of the earth and enjoy all the beautiful things He had made.
Day 7:
On the seventh day, God looked at everything He had made. It was perfect! So, He rested and made that day special—a day to rest and enjoy His creation.
And that’s how God created the world! Every sunset, animal, and tree is a reminder of how much God loves us. We are part of His beautiful creation, too!
